Day-two and day-three refresh in five minutes
Bring your curls back to life between wash days, without starting from scratch.
By Lynn, founder · 30 September 2026
Day one is easy. Day two and three are where curls get flat, frizzy or stretched. A refresh wakes them up in minutes. Here is a simple version to start from. Adjust it to suit your hair.
What you need
- A spray bottle with water (a fine mist is best).
- A little leave-in, or a light curl cream.
- A drop of gel for any curls that need hold.
- Your silk scarf, for the in-between days.

When the refresh isn’t enough
Some days your hair has had enough. That’s the perfect moment for a scarf. Not to hide, but to change the look entirely. A wide halo band hides flat roots and frames your face; a ponytail bow turns tired lengths into a choice. Keep bands and ponytails comfortable, never tight.
